Description: Bentley is providing architectural and engineering design services for a new 9,800 SF station with three drive-through apparatus bays that will be constructed on previously undeveloped site owned by City. Building includes apparatus bays, adjacent utility spaces for bunker gear storage, laundry, tools, EMS storage, decon room, water fill station, and small police sub-station office. Drainage for site is conveyance only to housing development pond. Back-up generator with on-board fuel storage and automatic start is included in design. The work also included development of associated site features to support the functional use of the facility. Site features included utility connection and installation, site grading, stormwater conveyance to the existing stormwater pond to the west of the site, paved parking areas, site lighting, and general site development. Bentley also completed the Design Criteria Package under a continuing contract in 2019.
