Description: Bentley provided comprehensive Architectural, Civil Engineering and Structural Engineering design services for this new fire station of 6,533 square feet. The new fire station includes 3 drive-thru apparatus bays, living quarters with bunk room, day room, kitchen and fitness areas. Bentley completed the project on schedule and budget. The original estimate was $2.2 million and the final construction cost was $2.18 million. The design was completed on schedule within 10 months. Bentley also provided Architectural, Civil Engineering and Structural Engineering design services for the City of Oviedo’s new 5,788 square foot Fire Administration Facility. The facility includes offices, lobby, restroom facilities and conference room. The facility was designed with future expansion in mind and was completed in conjunction with the Fire Station No. 3 project. To maintain the City’s budget the design is a metal building with stucco finish panels.
