Description: As the prime engineering consultant, Bentley provided design services and oversight for two pedestrian bridges for Hard Rock Stadium, one over the Florida Turnpike access ramp (+200’ span) and another bridge over NW 199th Street (+150’ span). Bentley performed design calculations of both bridges’ superstructure, deck, foundations, sign attachments, and surrounding MSE walls. Bentley provided design for two tunnels under Don Shula Drive, the stadium perimeter road, associated roadway improvements and maintenance of traffic for the entire project. Bentley performed design calculations and plan preparation for both tunnels supported by tremie seal foundations, their adjacent retaining walls, and reviewed the design and calculations from the precast tunnel supplier.
