Senior Drainage Project Manager

Qualifications:
- Registered Florida PE
- B.S. in engineering with at least 10 years of post-license experience
- Well-versed in FDOT design standards and criteria related to both drainage design and plan production
- Ability to interpret and apply technical information contained in manuals and regulatory documents
- Takes initiative in tasks and meeting with other design team members
- Strong and effective time management skills
- Strong technical writing and communication skills
- Knowledge of ERP permitting requirements with water management districts throughout the state
- Proficiency with MicroStation, ORD Drainage and Utilities, ICPR, and PONDS is required
- Microsoft Office suite knowledge is required
- Proficiency with HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, ASAD, Hydra Flow, and bridge scour analysis is a plus
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Analyze and design hydrologic and hydraulic conveyance systems, cross drains, and stormwater management facilities
- Develop floodplain compensation calculations and design
- Prepare technical documents, including drainage reports, pond siting reports, and permitting documents with minimal oversight
- Prepare construction plans consistent with FDOT standards
- Meet water management district staff; prepare and compile submittal packages of ERP permitting per water management district requirements
- Design and inspection of best management practices for erosion and sediment control
- Assist with QC of construction plans and design documents generated by other team members
- Develop scope of services, fee negotiation, and schedule management for state and local agency projects
- Coordination with other disciplines and meetings with clients
- Assist in the developmental growth and mentorship of design staff
