Bentley Engineering is established, specializing in Structural design for retail and restaurant projects across America.

Architecture is added to the firm’s offerings, shaping Bentley’s trajectory as a company.

Bentley establishes a relationship with the Florida Department of Transportation.

Bentley narrows its focus to Central Florida and becomes Bentley Architects + Engineers.

The firm starts pursuing maintenance facilities, which becomes a prosperous niche.

Bentley secures its first Roadway contract from FDOT and establishes a permanent home in Longwood, Florida.

Work continues with cities across Florida, including city halls, education projects, and community fixtures.

A partnership with the Florida Turnpike Enterprise is initiated, shaping Bentley’s operations.

Bentley expands further into the public sector, working on private development, parks and recreation, roadway design, and tolling infrastructure.

The firm develops expertise in tolling infrastructure and builds a tolling retrieval prototype.

Bentley’s operations expand to other FDOT districts.

A statewide study of rest areas in need of renovation is conducted.

Continuing contracts from local cities keep the team busy with varied work orders.
